CDMHA will strive to provide a safe, healthy and positive environment for our players. Within that framework, we will focus on developing the skills of our players at all levels by teaching the fundamentals of the game of hockey with an emphasis on healthy competition, good sportsmanship and team play. The mandate of our program will also include an emphasis on developing winning teams. |

From now until March 15 the CDMHA is accepting nominations for a variety of annual awards that recognize exceptional coaches, players and longstanding volunteers:

Nominees and winners will be recognized at the CDMHA Annual Awards Night/AGM on May 3. The CDMHA will also recognize tournament and playoff success over the season as well as excellence in refereeing.
Board Nominations and Constitutional Amendments
The Board of Directors for Caledonia Minor Hockey will be accepting all requests for Constitutional amendments by no later than March 1st, 2010 by 6:00pm. The submission for a Constitutional Amendment must be in writing and received at the Minor Hockey office by the above mentioned date. The proposed changes will be voted on at the 2010 Annual General Meeting of the membership in early May.

Ice Scheduler Job Posting
We are accepting applications for the role of Ice Scheduler for the 2010-2011 hockey season. Please provide a letter and resume outlining your experience and applicable skill set for this role. Experience with the Nexus scheduling system would be an asset. Please deliver the information to the Minor Hockey Office to the attention of Scott Brownell. The Caledonia Corvairs have generously offered FREE admission to all Caledonia minor hockey players who come to games wearing their team jersey. The offer is open for the entire 2009/10 season. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
